Anyone ever done any tests to see how many packets per second FreeBSD can route? Along the same lines, what about ipfw / accounting rules? Also Without saying "RTSL", can someone explain to me briefly how the kernel does its routing table lookups? (I wish I had time to spend hours looking though kernel source to figure it out myself, but work duties call..)
