Hi all, I have recently come accross a strange problem, I have been trying to setup a freebsd sever at a place that has a whole bunch of newish intel systems (they are 766mhz or something so they are not that new).. They all have these Diamond Touch keyboards, and upon loading a kernel the keyboard doesnt work.. I cant actualy install on these systems using the keyboards!! The kernel config screen doesnt come up ether, it just jumps to sysinstall with a dead keyboard... Now I dont know what mother board is in these systems, and it could be just these keyboards with that controler, but I found another band keyboard and it worked just fine.. Anyway the relevent messages from the kernel are: atkbdc0 <Keyboard Controller(i8024)>: at port 0x60,0x64 on ISA0 atkbd0 <AT Keyboard>: Flags 0x1 IRQ 1 on atkbdc0 device_probe_and_attatch: atkbd0 attatch returned 6 During the probe the lights on the keyboard flash and then it goes dead, sort of like maybe the probe killed it... The keyboards are all: Diamond Touch Keyboards (yes the s on the end is part of its name) Model No: 6511-PA Extension No: 41/MIT Are these not supported or something? I would like to know whats going on here because it seems very strange that a keyboard should fail to work right?? Thanks anyway!
