I've set up one remote box with an SYNC570/i V.35 and a 64kb/s connection to an Bay Networks ASN Router on the other side. The kernel compiled without any problems and upon the next boot it recognised my SYNC570/i, so far so good. But now the trouble starts; after 'ifconfig ar0 inet 62.48.31.18 62.48.31.17 netmask 255.255.255.252' the trouble begun. When I do a ping 62.48.31.18 (my side of the PPP-Link) it gives 'no route to host' also a ping to 62.48.31.17 (the other side) gives only timeouts. But when I take a look at the Bay Networks Router on the other side I see LCP and IPCP up, a ping to 62.48.31.18 gives also only timeouts. Any ideas? -- Andre Oppermann CEO / Geschaeftsfuehrer Internet Business Solutions Ltd.
