I let the lawn grow until I start losing cats in it (or more start coming out) and then I call up one of the local gardeners who arrives with a machete'-wielding team of South American natives with genuine jungle experience and they cut it all down, bag it up and haul it off. Works every time! However, I'm not sure that this helps your already excellent analogy. :-) Jordan
