To whom it may concern (A kernel person I guess) There's some new debug blurting this on my console: Jul 31 22:31:53 vector init: port /dev/cua01 changed utmp index from 10 to 11 Jul 31 22:31:53 vector init: port /dev/cua01 changed utmp index from 10 to 11 Jul 31 22:31:53 vector init: port /dev/cua01 changed utmp index from 10 to 11 Jul 31 22:31:53 vector init: port /dev/tty02 changed utmp index from 11 to 12 Jul 31 22:31:53 vector init: port /dev/tty02 changed utmp index from 11 to 12 Jul 31 22:31:53 vector init: port /dev/tty02 changed utmp index from 11 to 12 Jul 31 22:31:53 vector init: port /dev/tty04 changed utmp index from 13 to 14 Jul 31 22:31:53 vector init: port /dev/tty04 changed utmp index from 13 to 14 Jul 31 22:31:53 vector init: port /dev/tty04 changed utmp index from 13 to 14 I guess it came after I did a kill -HUP 1 Seems to me to be of no general interest ? Perhaps it should be inside an #ifdef DEBUG ? I had a look in sys/ sources but couldn't find the origin. Julian S
