FWIW, OpenBSD has a version of dig(1) in base, with just the parts
extracted from BIND that are needed.

openbsd$ /usr/bin/dig -v
dig 9.10.8-P1

Then again, just keeping the existing version of drill(1) around
would amount to the same, I guess.
