As the one that started all this.... mharo was bored and I mentioned it would be great if cp,rm,mv,ln had a "-v" verbose flag added. I compile the GNU fileutils on every machine I use because I use "-v" all the time. I *LIKE* feedback as a command is doing its job. I am tired of having to build and install GNU fileutils for just one little piece of functionality. When proposing these changes to mharo, I looked at typical /bin utils and added mkdir and rmdir to the list. I do not have convictions over mkdir,rmdir; BUT I am adimate about cp,rm,mv,ln.
