Oh, I assumed many folks knew about that page (I have a link to it from my
page), which is very useful, however it is based on a slightly different model
than the www.linux-laptop.net page which I found more useful. Instead of
centralizing the information on a single site, the linux-laptop.net page
simply adds links to various folks own pages about their laptops (which they
are more likely to keep up-to-date than if they have to submit changes to an
overworked maintainer I'll guess).

The one problem with maintaining just the links is that they could go stale
and information might disappear...however I could run an automated check (say
once a week) of the links and send a warning email to the person who submitted
it and then "expire" it if I didn't hear back...

If David Kulp (who maintains http://www.cse.ucsc.edu/~dkulp/fbsd/laptop.html)
would prefer, we could put the "links" on his page, or I'm willing to subsume
and maintain his page (he does say he doesn't update his page frequently).
