> [ tia ] : How does it work? It is kinda sorta a user level TCP/IP implementation. On the tty it talks SLIP to a remote host, and on the other side it talks to the internet. There are some limintations in doing this, but all outbound and many inbound applications work. Think of it as a term replacement that uses SLIP rather than term's transport layer. It also means you don't have to have special versions of the utilities that are term-aware. There is some magic in TIA to make things like ftp and X work that require inbound connections. You can find more information about TIA at ftp://marketplace.com/ Warner
