I see. yes, I can see how that is upsetting :-) Ok... Let me finish my hackery for today so that we have a console on pluto1 and I'll clean it up so that it works on i386 and alpha as well. I think I can get my hands on a pccard to test that too. After that we can decide what we want to do with it.
