You're going to have to shrug off your laziness and RTFM anyway. That's
because the FreeBSD kernel gets build differently than the Linux kernel.
But have no fear! There is a complete and easy to understand chapter on
building the kernel in the handbook. And it even tells you where the
sources are :-)

(IMHO, building the FreeBSD kernel is much simpler than building the
Linux kernel)
