[stupid > question, isn't it ? :-)] You're going to have to shrug off your laziness and RTFM anyway. That's because the FreeBSD kernel gets build differently than the Linux kernel. But have no fear! There is a complete and easy to understand chapter on building the kernel in the handbook.
