-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Being new to FreeBSD, I started following the handbook. I found it to be a very informative document and a great introduction to the OS. I do however have a small suggestion regarding section 4.4, Using the Packages System (URL below). http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/packages-using.html As this documentation is likely to be ready by new users, it may be useful to point out that in csh (being the default shell for root) one must either run "rehash" or log out and back in before the commands related to the package are available. Keep up the good work, - -- Steve Maddison System Administrator Green Valley BV http://www.greenvalley.nl/ Tel: +31 (0)15 251 1000 Fax: +31 (0)15 251 1001 KvK: 27189748 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGMcD19vcnBEUROrsRAk6jAJ9Ig8Bb4IVyzHYas8L/brPYu33JOgCfZ8/Q jOCTNDykKzrhr8h87eEgeug= =/wxF -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
