Don't get exicited yet :) I can do that like this:
dd if=/dev/rwd0 of=/dev/null count=1600 bs=64k
1600+0 records in
1600+0 records out
104857600 bytes transferred in 11.357939 secs (9232097 bytes/sec)
So come again :)
Oh did I tell you, its a P133 (Opti chipset) with a Maxtor 4G EIDE drive,
I spent US$ 250 for that, how much was your Barracuda & controller ??
