I'm not the original poster, but I've done the following so far:

-open a PR - http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=40003
-post a number of messages to this list and -hackers -

  -http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=freebsd-hackers&m=102616421405034&w=2
  -http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=freebsd-stable&m=102531336610390&w=2

This for me is a case of "worked fine in 4.4, panics on boot w/4.6 and
yesterday's -stable". In other words, hardware that used to work doesn't
now.

As a user, I'm not sure what else to do to help the problem along. I've
got a box exhibiting the panic on fallback to PIO, and it does this
reliably on every boot. I've sent in all the information I have and
politely asked if any additional info is needed.

So there you go, let me know if there's any more info needed.

Is Soren back yet? Does anyone else have their hands in this driver or is
it a one-man project?

Charles
