In attempting to put a wooden stake through the heart of an aged linux server that serves up ppp and slip customers we've nailed ppp but slattach is whining about ioctl(TIOCSCTTY): Operation not permitted I have a sneaking suspicion it's either because the sl device (we have beaucoup sl devices) aren't properly ifconfigd before slattaching, or maybe it's related to the fact that slattach is coming out of a script without execing (and thus dumping the controlling shell process). Ideas/suggestions appreciated. Thanks To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
