(My main laptop is much older, and does not use i2c for the mouse.) TL;DR: I don't really have a "last known good commit." >From the commit message, it looks as if the change was intended to make ... something ... better, so I think the best option would be to try your "You may try to include all" suffestion (probably via loader.conf). And since he's cited as a reviewer, maybe pick Warner's brain sometime if we both get to a meeting a bit early. :-) I plan to follow up with a progress update (once I have some progress to mention).
