Interesting you mention this. Because the trafic on this list is quite heavy, I think most people (like me?) scan the messages according to the subject line. My earlier messages had subject lines related to diskless boot-up. Then I discovered that hardly any of the diskless related questions in the past has had any useful response. So I decided to be more specific and send another message which had a subject line about bootpd. And see: I got all of a sudden two replies.
