I don't think you'll have any issues not loading the nvidia driver.  one
thing that may be a positive though is that loading the driver may reduce
the power draw on the GPU.  on my laptop where i don't use my nvidia GPU
loading the driver gives me significant power savings as it'll get set to
a low power state.
