Ive been experiencing problems with my system crashing under heavy swapping (ex. make world). This started happening after a make world I did a few weeks ago. Not having heard from anyone having similar problems, Ive been trying to rule out problems on my side. Now Im finally baffled. I cvsuped and booted a 5/20 kernel.GENERIC which suprisingly enough aloud me to do a complete rebuild without any problems. Up until then, I was unable to make world without a crash. I tried a make world with the new kernel (8/2/98) and retrieve the following: pickle# gdb -k kernel.0 vmcore.0 GDB is free software and you are welcome to distribute copies of it under certain conditions; type "show copying" to see the conditions.
