My new flash fire-breather HP Kayak XA400 (Kayak? Who'd name a computer "Kayak"??!") came with a PCI ether card identified as "HP NightDIRECTOR/100". The chip is an AMD 79C971KC, also known in the dox as "AMD PCNet-FAST". Am I right in my suspicion that this card is not supported? (2.2.x or 3.0 at this time...)
