It's version 6, on W2K - but > that doesn't mean a lot. > I have personally had problems with IE6 on Win2k with the IPv6 preview code loaded. IE6 on WinXP works. IE5.5 on Win2k with IPv6 code loaded works. After digging into the differences, I found that the IE6 install on Win2k with IPv6 was overwriting some of the files. I tried reapplying the IPv6 code afterwards but had no luck. I sent notes to Microsoft, who replied, but they never provided an answer. I finally just went to WinXP for my use. --Joe Joe.Breen@utah.edu Univ. of Utah Center for High Performance Computing > > On Fri, Apr 19, 2002 at 03:31:00PM +1000, Robert wrote: > > > > > > I have an apache-2 server running on > > > > > > ServerName ruby-v6.chalmers.com.au > > > Listen [2002:cb01:6005:2:240:5ff:fe4e:a982]:80 > > > > > > but connection to it simply gives an error. > > > > > > The W2K box I am running IE on is also on the 6to4 network, > > > > I assume you're using http://ruby-v6.chalmers.com.au in IE, but > > does IE understand IPv6? > > > > Your server is running without problems, youre'r unning Apache/2.0.32 > > with the default index.html :-) > > > > Edwin > > > > -- > > Edwin Groothuis | Personal website: http://www.MavEtJu.org > > edwin@mavetju.org | Interested in MUDs?
