I treat FreeBSD as a formal UNIX, and linux is something minor. But something I do have some problem on using FreeBSD. For example, my computer has no ISA sound. It only has PCI sound card, Creative Vibra128 PCI. FreeBSD does not directly support PCI sound card now. So my FreeBSD has no sound, silent. This is pretty a sorrow. Fortunately I find a article telling how to configure the PCI sound card for FreeBSD. But while I follow the instruction of this article, I have some problem which I cannot solve.
