Sorry, I forgot to mention that for firefox you want to make a symbolic link from /usr/X11R6/lib/linux-flashplugin6/libflashplayer.so to /usr/X11R6/lib/firefox/plugins/libflashplayer.so and from /usr/X11R6/lib/linux-flashplugin6/flashplayer.xpt to /usr/X11R6/lib/firefox/plugins/libflashplayer.so (Shamelessly copied from a previous post :)
