Hello Folks, It would help if the man page resolver(5) or resolv.conf(5) contains information about how to ensure the contents of /etc/resolv.conf gets either updated or not modified when dhcp is used. This request stems from the function add_new_resolv_conf() in the script /sbin/dhclient-script that handles the either the update or modification of /etc/resolv.conf. It will be helpful to indicate that the contents of /etc/resolv.conf is also influenced by the keywords in /etc/dhclient.conf, a good reference is the example indicated in dhclient.conf(5).
