Someone a few days ago in -stable reported xargs breakage. Looks like I can second this. Trying to build gdk-pixbuv 0.10.0 in ports I get: ===> Extracting for gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0 >> Checksum OK for gnome/gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0.tar.bz2. ===> gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0 depends on executable: gmake - found ===> gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0 depends on shared library: png.5 - found ===> gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0 depends on shared library: tiff.4 - found ===> gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0 depends on shared library: jpeg.9 - found ===> gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0 depends on shared library: X11.6 - found ===> gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0 depends on shared library: glib12.3 - found ===> gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0 depends on shared library: gtk12.2 - found ===> Patching for gdk-pixbuf-0.18.0 xargs: illegal option -- e usage: xargs [-0pt] [-E eofstr] [-I replstr [-R replacements]] [-J replstr] [-L number] [-n number [-x] [-s size] [utility [argument ...]] *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/graphics/gdk-pixbuf. /usr/src & /usr/ports all up to date as of 2002/07/05. I notice that xargs was updated on both 2002/06/30 & 2002/07/02. Previous cvsup of this system was 2002/07/01. Ideas? Fixes? Workarounds?
