Hi folks, today I wanted to install the LyX frontend to LaTeX using the ports syste= m. Since LyX depends on a whole lot of other stuff from which I had not much= installed, I knew that it was going to be a long download. After some time the PORTS system started retrieving the XFORMS library. Unluckily, the internet connection crashed while doing so, which stoped t= he whole make process for LyX. When I try to resume by typing MAKE once more, it does restart where it left off, but it tries to unpack the incomplete-downloaded XFORMS package= and gives me a CHECKSUM error and then quits. My guess is that I need to delete the incompletly downloaded file, then do make again and it should re-download it and be able to install it. Unluckily, I don't have a clue where in the file system tree the PORTS-system has placed the incompletel= y downloaded XFORMS. I searched in /usr/ports/x11-toolkits/xfroms but couldn't fine it. So, where's it then? See ya, Nils To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
