https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=291765 Colin Percival <cperciva@FreeBSD.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |cperciva@FreeBSD.org --- Comment #9 from Colin Percival <cperciva@FreeBSD.org> --- Sounds to me like everything is as it should be? FreeBSD Update deliberately avoids shipping new kernels when the only thing which has changed is the version number -- I designed it in 2003 when many people were still on dialup and I didn't want people to be downloading tens of MB unnecessarily. A 14.3-RELEASE-p5 kernel is exactly the same as a 14.3-RELEASE-p7 kernel aside from the embedded version number, since p6 didn't touch the kernel and p7 only touches kernel modules and not the main kernel binary. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
