You just forget about all combinations of CC=/CXX=, compilers from base system
and ports and updates of these, current and stable branches, "ports compiler"
we had in plans afaik, freebsd and dragonfly differences etc. Compiler version
is always objective. Release versions have nothing to do with this at all.

Being practical, OPSYS/OSVERSION checks are _always_ more complex and less
correct than compiler check.

It really is a boost issue, see comment #1. You won't catch this with
poudriere.
