To be clear the Freebsd/Fedora instance was never put to sleep it was always
the Windows or the Debian machine that was put into S3 sleep. The problem a=
nd
testing wasn't for Freebsd/Fedora instances being pingable while Windows/De=
bian
was in S3 sleep (or vice versa). It was after Windows woke up from S3 sleep
that it couldn't ping Freebsd. I will try the instructions to load the USB
quirk.
