You might want to use ntpd to sync the clock before cron starts if this turns out to be your problem: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/network- ntp.html Once you have ntpd working, just put ntpd on the require line in the cron startup file, /etc/rc.d/cron, to ensure that cron starts up after ntpd. ...or just buy a new motherboard battery.
