These are 2 subjects I haven't seen mentioned much so here goes... Is there any substantial benefit to increasing a motherboard's (static RAM) cache from the oft-sold 256K to something greater (like 512K or 1MB where applicable)? Likewise faster SIMMs (< 70ns) and correspondingly at what point is it appropriate to lower the wait states in the BIOS? because inquiring minds want to know... regards, larry PS: this is cross-posted almost verbatim to another list, but there's little correspndence between the two -- apologies to all offended parties "..that's why I say: hey man, nice shot.."
