I'm not sure about the ir blaster, but the remote worked with about 2 minutes of fumbling in knoppmyth. I would assume this means it would work elsewhere too. I've read the ir blaster works as well, but I haven't tested it yet. (yes I know I'm referencing linux here, but seeing that it works in linux means it should (or maybe could?) work in FreeBSD too) -mark
