I can definitely say this is not *generally* true, as I do a lot of rsyncing/rdiff-backup:ing and similar stuff (with many files / large files) on ZFS without any stability issues. Problems for me have been limited to 32bit and the memory exhaustion issue rather than "hard" issues. But perhaps that's all you are referring to. -- / Peter Schuller PGP userID: 0xE9758B7D or 'Peter Schuller <peter.schuller@infidyne.com>' Key retrieval: Send an E-Mail to getpgpkey@scode.org E-Mail: peter.schuller@infidyne.com Web: http://www.scode.org [-- Attachment #2 --] -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBHgKSeDNor2+l1i30RAjynAKCl+ehI7a8/xoTBjc9Z5DTcR58obgCcDZF+ qvGLR/LxRjX47PfCCPo29r8= =Pjj5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
