Hi What do I have to do when I want to telnet from a FreeBSD box to a Linux box; the entries of termcap don't match, there's no cons25 on the Linux box, and when using 'export TERM=vt100' on the linux not everything goes well, especially pine; the colors are not that good (the bars are connected, I can't see which mail I select (except in the right-corner of the screen, yes)... Do I have to copy the items of the FreeBSD termcap (console) to the Linux version? And, what do I have to do to run talk to another host on the internet? When I just to 'talk psd@anotherhost' talk says something like 'see if there's an invitation for me' and; of course not, he has to say something to the client over there... And; is it possible for each host to connect to you? Under linux hosts has to be in the /etc/hosts.equiv if someone wants to talk to you... -- Paul Dekkers (psd@nev.ml.org or psd@dds.nl) N.E.V - Nescio Ergo Valeo load average: 258.72, 206.85, 104.49 (discovered the fork bom)
