Everything is controlled by the ata(4) module. What does the output of "atacontrol mode ad0" say? (replace ad0 with the device name of your hard drive). Perhaps it detects SATA300 mode. As someone else suggested, please post the output of "pciconf -lv". -- Rick C. Petty
