Hey all- I've been messing with xdm the last few days and have made some progress: After compiling in XDM-AUTHORIZATION-1, I'm able to `X -indirect <pretty much anywhere>` and get a chooser. Problem is, when I select a FreeBSD box, X restarts, shows the root window and X cursor, and then returns to chooser after some amount of time. I'm not having this problem when trying to connnect to GNU/Linux (redhat 6.x) machines. `X -query <offending_host>` works, it's just when selected from chooser.
