Perhaps I misspoke, and "roller" is a technical term -- I meant the ball which rolls when the mouse is moved. The only branding information on the device is the label "Made in China". "Generic PS/2" is very accurate, and is in fact what I had meant when I said "mode 0". Don't ask me why I said that, though!
