Well there has been a lot of discussions Here: https://lists.csociety.org/pipermail/kde-freebsd/2003-August/005354.html and here: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=61730 Some say its only a minor cosmetic annoyance some argue to reroll the release. According to http://www.kde.org/info/3.1.3.php#bugs there may be a 3.1.3a. If there will be a new release there is no nead for people to recompile stuff twice. We provided the fix here, so people who are annoyed can recompile there port to fix the problem until there will be a new release. HTH tilman
