Hello, I have some problems with sound-card detection on my HP Omnibook 6000 running Freebsd 4.4 RC3. The soundcard is Maestro ESS 3 I enabled following stuff in kernel: options PNPBIOS device pcm dmesg says something like: unknown: <PNP0000> can't assign resources unknown: <PNP0303> can't assign resources unknown: <PNP0f13> can't assign resources unknown: <PNP0700> can't assign resources I tried to disabling/enabling stuff in my bios ( stuff i can disable is: Serial port, Infrared port, parallel port), and the only difference is, while the devices are enabled, there are more "can't assign resources" lines in dmesg.. While googling for the answer, I can see that lot's of people has successfully got everything to work on an Omnibook 6k.. Does anyone in here have a clue about this ? -- Yours Digitally, Mateusz Tilewski matek@coredump.dk To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
