Hi,

I am trying to play an audio cd. If i mount my cd it mounts as /dev/acd0a. I
first trying using a graphical cd player in kde, but it wouldnt play, so i
figured i would go console. i went into the console and typed cdplay, it
displayed a box, but nothing happened, i couldnt start playing the cd or
anything. So i tried cd-console ... and it gave to following error....

[root@nicki] ~ # cd-console
Cannot open /dev/acd0c: Device not configured.
Cannot open CD-ROM device, exiting.
[root@nicki] ~ #

i dont know why i wants to read it from acd0c, since all my cd's mount
/dev/acd0a.

please help
thanks
Ian Barnes
