I guess it is worth putting a BIG note near the beginning of /etc/rc, /etc/netstart and similar places that now /etc/sysconfig takes care of a lot of things. People coming from 1.1 or early 2.0 installations might forget this and try to do the wrong thing (such as leaving the hostname in /etc/myname, the defaultrouter in /etc/defaultrouter, etc.) Luigi ==================================================================== Luigi Rizzo Dip. di Ingegneria dell'Informazione email: luigi@iet.unipi.it Universita' di Pisa tel: +39-50-568533 via Diotisalvi 2, 56126 PISA (Italy) fax: +39-50-568522 ====================================================================
