Hello,

I'm fully enjoying installing FreeBSD 8.0-BETA2 amd64.
However, it does not seem to be able to use all my ram.
Strangely enough, it says the following:
[root@carmen ~]# dmesg |grep memory
real memory = 2147483648 (2048 MB)
avail memory = 4112240640 (3921 MB)

and
[root@carmen ~]# sysctl -a|grep mem
[/snip]
hw.physmem: 4277510144
hw.usermem: 3954216960
hw.realmem: 4831838208
[/snip]

I'm still on a fresh install with a generic kernel.
Any ideas as to what might be going on?
greetz,
Mark
