I am having some problems setting up BIND, when my db files are read I encounter errors telling me that timeout and retry values are incorrect. I am told that a valve that is larger than another is less than the comparative value and that is clearly not the case. I have consulted the FreeBSD docs. DNS and BIND and another O'Rielly book, TCP/IP for the UNIX administrator. named is starting and reading my db files, but I can't zero in on the correct values for timeout, retry, and minimum. Can someone help me. this is a single domain and my server IP address is 10.0.0.2/11, the router is 10.0.0.1/11. please send me a sample of a zone file if you can.
