Yay indeed, the worst is over.  Our base system is now as PAMified as
I care to make it (unless there's something I've overlooked) and the
rest of the stuff on my todo-list is a lot less risky than what I've
been doing so far, so y'all can stop shitting your pants every time I
make a commit ;)
