Even if you rebuild libc, you may still have to rebuild a lot of stuff, i.e. static libraries and static binaries. Are you sure it is worth your time to try rebuilding the system in pieces, as you find they need to be rebuilt, instead of just using the usual buildworld/buildkernel cycle?
