I just wanted to share this with everyone, cus I have a feeling many people may not be aware of this app, found in /usr/ports/x11 - bgrot. It's a background image rotator. Simple to set up and use. Just put a bunch of images you want for backgrounds into one directory, make a change or two to the config file and run two scripts - on to get a list of the images and one to get it running.
