We're not talking about months or years of waiting; a few days CS> or a week or two is a very acceptable delay. dont mean to offend anyone but, i'm new to freebsd and been using it for only a month and a half now (serving as my gateway) and i stare at it everyday, spending _at_least_ 16 hours a day, for the past period mentioned. i surely am not everyone but i feel that i have to agree with both Kevin and Christopher. i for one, dont mind waiting for a "real" (if applicable) stable -RELEASE than one that needs to be patched/fixed/whatever right after a realease. like i said, i'm not everyone but at least, IMHO, for those *BSD purist, the wait is worth it. simply put... i, speaking for myself, dont need another red hat like product. do you?
