Hello all, I tried the 4.2 beta ISO and found a problem with the pine package. When installed from sysinstall, pine will attempt to warn about its security issues and ask for confirmation. This happens on the debug terminal, while the main sysinstall screen is frozen. Even if you know the trick and switch to the debug terminal, pressing "return" does not work: maybe the terminal is connected to stdout only? It would be useful to have an option passed to the pkg-install scripts that indicates a "batch" (unattended) installation: a port script could then attempt to install anyway, maybe sending an email to root regarding its security issues (I wouldn't know where to start =). This would be nice with install.cfg driven installations too. bye, Jimmy To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-stable" in the body of the message
