I announced an end to slush and the beginning of "final countdown" a
couple of days back, but don't worry about it - you're not the only
one to jump in with a commit here (just noticed one from Bruce :)
and as long as the commits are entirely benign, I'm not worried.
It's the "let me just switch us to the new kld mechanism by default!"
commits I was more worried about. :-)
