Hello: I'm a newbie to the FREEBSD device world and am having a problem installing a Traven IDE Tape drive in FREEBSD 4-3 STABLE. DMESG returns the following: ata0-master: DMA limited to UDMA33, non-ATA66 compliant cable ad0: 19092MB <WDC WD200AB-00BPA1> [38792/16/63] at ata0-master UDMA33 acd0: CDROM <LTN526S> at ata1-master using PIO4 ata1-slave: <Seagate STT20000A/8A51> tape device - NO DRIVER! My kernel has the following entries: # ATA and ATAPI devices device ata0 at isa? port IO_WD1 irq 14 device ata1 at isa? port IO_WD2 irq 15 device ata device atadisk # ATA disk drives device atapicd # ATAPI CDROM drives #device atapifd # ATAPI floppy drives device atapist # ATAPI tape drives options ATA_STATIC_ID #Static device numbering #options ATA_ENABLE_ATAPI_DMA #Enable DMA on ATAPI devices 1). What do I need to do to get this thing working? Thanks in advance! Phil __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
